And the Spirit and the Bride say, "Come". And let him that hears say, "Come". And let him that is thirsty come. And whoever will, let him take the water of life freely!                                                                    Rev. 22:17

 ~ BIBLICAL FINANCES ~

What Does the Bible Tell Us About Finances?

Bible Summary. There are over 2,000 verses in the Bible regarding finances. People who don't tithe are on a financial curse. One of God’s promises in the Bible concerning finances is that those who tithe the LORD will multiply their finances. Also those who are givers will be given to. In addition, he will bless the work of our hands and our financial investments. The Bible also tells us that we can be rich in our finances if we are diligent in our work. The Bible tells us that a buyer should not try to cheat a seller, and a seller should not try to cheat a buyer. The Bible tells us that money holds a special place in human endeavors because it has the ability to meet all of our physical needs. The Bible also tells us that for those of us that are blessed, much is required. See below for Biblical commentary and advise concerning the Bible and finances. Please keep in mind, that your giving should be strictly out of the goodness of your heart, not expecting anything in return. In other words, "DON'T GIVE TO GET". otherwise you won't be blessed.

"Please print Prayer and money below"

"May the blessing of the most High God Father, Son and Holy Spirit fill you up with money. May money overflow from you always. Nice check book always be full of money. Money I command you to multiply, multiply, multiply in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!!! Proverbs 18:21 “The power of life and death are in the tongue and those that love it will eat of its fruit!”

I know it sounds crazy but please print the money above and carry it in your purse or wallet. Repeating the following statement daily "Thank you Heavenly Father, you are the maker of heaven and earth and the owner of all the gold and all the silver, I thank you that this money has turned into real money and it belongs to me. Multiply it father in the name of Jesus Christ, AMEN!"

Proverbs 18:21 (NIV) - "The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit." This verse advices us to say aloud what we want from life. I am wealthy or I don't have any money, We choose!

GOD IS THE OWNER OF EVERYTHING IN THE UNIVERSE:

1 Chronicles 29:11 11 Yours, LORD, is the greatness and the power and the glory and the majesty and the splendor, for everything in heaven and earth is yours. Yours, LORD, is the kingdom; you are exalted as head over all.

Deuteronomy 10:14 To the LORD your God belong the heavens, even the highest heavens, the earth and everything in it.

Psalms 50:10-12 For every animal of the forest is mine, and the cattle on a thousand hills.11(A) I know all the birds of the hills, and all that moves in the field is mine. 12The world is mine, and all that is in it.

Haggai 2:8 "The silver is mine and the gold is mine," declares the LORD Almighty .

SEARCH FIRST THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN:

Matthew 6:33-34 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Deuteronomy 8:1,18 "Be careful to observe all the commandments I enjoin on you today, that you may live and increase, and may enter in and possess the land which the LORD promised on oath to your fathers.18 Remember then, it is the LORD, your God, who gives you the power to acquire wealth, by fulfilling, as he has now done, the covenant which he swore to your fathers.

THE WICKED GATHER WEALTH FOR THE RIGHTEOUS:

Proverbs 13:22 A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children’s children: and the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the arighteous.

Ecclesiastes 2:26 26 To the person who pleases him, God gives wisdom, knowledge and happiness, but to the sinner he gives the task of gathering and storing up wealth to hand it over to the one who pleases God. This too is meaningless, a chasing after the wind.

WHERE OUR FINANCIAL CURSE CAME FROM:

Malachi 3:8&9   “Will a mere mortal rob God? Yet you rob me. “But you ask, ‘How are we robbing you?’ “In tithes and offerings. 9 You are under a curse—your whole nation—because you are robbing me.

Haggai1:6-9 "You have planted much, but harvested little. You eat, but never have enough. You drink, but never have your fill. You put on clothes, but are not warm. You earn wages, only to put them in a purse with holes in it.” 7 This is what the LORD Almighty says: “Give careful thought to your ways. 8 Go up into the mountains and bring down timber and build my house, so that I may take pleasure in it and be honored,” says the LORD. 9 “You expected much, but see, it turned out to be little. What you brought home, I blew away. Why?” declares the LORD Almighty. “Because of my house, which remains a ruin, while each of you is busy with your own house.

Proverbs 21:17 17 Whoever loves pleasure will become poor; whoever loves wine and olive oil will never be rich.

GOD ASKS TO BE TESTED WITH OUR TITHES:

Malachi 3:10 Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the LORD Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.

Leviticus 27:30 “‘A tithe of everything from the land, whether grain from the soil or fruit from the trees, belongs to the LORD; it is holy to the LORD.

Proverbs 3:9-10 9 Honor the LORD with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops; 10 then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine.

HELP THE NEEDY, BE GENEROUS:

Proverbs 11:24 One gives freely, yet grows all the richer; another withholds what he should give, and only suffers want.

Proverbs 19:17 17 Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the LORD, and he will reward them for what they have done.

Proverbs 21:13 13 Whoever shuts their ears to the cry of the poor will also cry out and not be answered.

Proverbs 22:9  The generous will themselves be blessed, for they share their food with the poor.

Acts 20:35 In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”

Luke 6:38 Give, and IT will be given to you: good measure, pressed down, shaken together, and running over will be put into your bosom. For with the same measure that you use, it will be measured back to you.” (IT can be substitute with anything you want multiplied, i.e. money, love, services, friendship, stuff etc...)

THE WORK OF OUR HANDS WILL BE BLESSED:

Deut. 28:1-14 God Promises That the Work of Our Hands Will Be Blessed. One of God’s promises in the Bible concerning finances is that he will bless the work of our hands and our financial investments. As Christians we can hold on to any promises God makes in the Bible to include promises concerning finances. God promised to bless us based on the work of our hand, the fruit of our body, and fruit of what every we possess.

WRITE YOUR GOALS DOWN:

Habakkuk 2:2-3 2 Then the LORD replied: “Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it. 3 For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay

CALCULATE BEFORE BUILDING:

Luke 14:28 28 “Suppose one of you wants to build a tower. Won’t you first sit down and estimate the cost to see if you have enough money to complete it?

BE DILIGENT, AND BE RICH:

Proverbs 10:4 advises us that the hand of the diligent makes one rich. The Bible tells us that we can be rich in our finances if we are diligent in our work. On the other hand, those who are slack in what they do will become poor.

Proverbs 21:5,25 5 The plans of the diligent lead to profit as surely as haste leads to poverty. 25 The craving of a sluggard will be the death of him, because his hands refuse to work.

WE NEED TO BE FAIR IN OUR DEALINGS:

Proverbs 16:11 11 Honest scales and balances belong to the LORD; all the weights in the bag are of his making.

Proverbs 20:10,23 10 Differing weights and differing measures - the LORD detests them both.  23 The LORD detests differing weights, and dishonest scales do not please him.

Proverbs 22:16,22,23 One who oppresses the poor to increase his wealth and one who gives gifts to the rich -both come to poverty.22 Do not exploit the poor because they are poor    and do not crush the needy in court, 23 for the LORD will take up their case and will exact life for life.

Leviticus 25:14 advises us that neither buyers nor sellers should take advantage of the other. The Bible tells us that we must be fair in our financial dealings with others. A buyer should not try to cheat a seller, and a seller should not try to cheat a buyer.

MONEY ANSWERS MANY OF OUR PHYSICAL NEEDS and it's good to have it, however it si the LOVE of money that is BAD:

Ecclesiastes 10:19 Men prepare a meal for enjoyment, and wine makes life merry, and money is the answer to everything.

1 Timothy 6:9-10 9 Those who want to get rich fall into temptation and a trap and into many foolish and harmful desires that plunge people into ruin and destruction. 10 For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs.

WHERE MUCH IS GIVEN, MUCH IS REQUIRED:

Luke 12:48 advises us that who much is given, much is required. The Bible tells us that for those of us that are blessed, much is required. This applies to our financial blessings, our spiritual blessings, and the blessings of wisdom that God has bestowed unto us.

STEWARDSHIP OVER FINANCES (GOD IS THE OWNER OF EVERYTHING):

Matthew 24:47 I tell you the truth, he will put him in charge of all his possessions.

Luke 16:10 "Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much.

Proverbs 20:16 16 Take the garment of one who puts up security for a stranger; hold it in pledge if it is done for an outsider.

Proverbs 22:26 26 Do not be one who shakes hands in pledge or puts up security for debts; 27 if you lack the means to pay, your very bed will be snatched from under you.

Proverbs 18:12 12 Before a downfall the heart is haughty, but humility comes before honor

Proverbs 21:4 4 Haughty eyes and a proud heart - the unplowed field of the wicked—produce sin

1 Timothy 6:10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

PAY YOUR CREDITORS ASAP:

Romans 13:8 Owe nothing to anyone except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law.

1 Timothy 6:10 For the love of money is the root of all evil: which while some coveted after, they have erred from the faith, and pierced themselves through with many sorrows.

BE HONORABLE:

Proverbs 22:1 A good name is more desirable than great riches; to be esteemed is better than silver or gold.

MY PERSONAL TESTIMONIES:

I would personally advice to keep a journal, to keep track of your blessings, I will  share a few of mine:

I gave my last $12.00 to a friend in need and 4 hours later I was given $50.00.

I gave $50.00 away to another friend in need and 10 minutes later I was given a washer and dryer, I so much needed.

On December 15, 2008 the Lord told me to give away the $200.00 I had saved to buy some clothes to my grandchildren, 10 days later my grandchildren received over $2,700.00 worth of NEW clothes and shoes.

I donated $5000.00 dollars to my ex-pastor for needs they had in their ministry, and I was able to rent out a house I had vacant for over two years in a ghetto part of town. I already got my money back as rent.

I gave $1000.00 to my pastor for his vacation at the end of November 2010 and I was given a 15 member female ministry on December 16, 2010.

I donated $1000 to another ministry the first week of December and was able to gather the funds to buy, in cash a $9400.00 car, just a couple of days later. ...I just have too many testimonies to list them all!

God Bless you all!               ...Pastor Letty Hawkins
