~ DESCRIPTION OF GOD ~
Here are the following things He has shown to me;
These are the attributes and description of JEHOVAH;
1) OMNIPRESENT (1 Kings 8:27 Behold, heaven and the heaven of heavens cannot contain You. – Psalm 73:23 "I am with you always" - this means He is every where)
2) OMNIPOTENT (Jeremiah 32:27 "Behold, I am the Lord, The God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me? Luke 1:38 Nothing is impossible with God.)
3) OMNISCIENCE (Psalm 139:4 He knows our thoughts even before we think them, 1 Chronicles 28:9 and the contents of our hearts)
4) INMUTABLE (CHANGES NOT) Malachi 3:6 For I am the Lord, I change not; Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.)
5) He is HOLY (Leviticus 11:44 Be Holy for I am Holy – this means He doesn’t sin)
6) He is SPIRIT (John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth -Spirit has two meanings, He is invisible and it also means He doesn’t walk in the Flesh)
7) He is the LIVING GOD (Psalms 42:2 My soul thirsts for God, for the living God)
8) He has ETERNAL (Malachi 3:6 I am the LORD, I change not)
9) He is LOVE (1 John 4:8b God is love)
10) He is OUR PROVIDER (Phillipians 4:19 and my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in Glory, by Christ Jesus.)
11) He is OUR HEALER (Isaiah 53:5b by His stripes we are healed)
12) He is OUR SAVIOR (Isaiah 43:11 I, even I, am the LORD, and besides me there is no SAVIOR; Acts 4:12 12 Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.”)
13) God has a PHYSICAL BODY (Genesis 1:26-27 We were made in his image and likeness Matthew 1:22 And he shall be called "Emmanuel" God with us.)
14) God has a PHYSICAL BODY God walked on Earth (Isaiah 66:1 This is what the Lord says: Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my FOOTSTOOL. Ezekiel 37:27 27 My dwelling place will be with them; I will be their God, and they will be my people. that means He walked on this earth - Matthew 1:22 And he shall be called "Emmanuel" God with us. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (JOHN 1:14 And the word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
EXODUS 33 says that only Moses 'spoke face to face' as a friend with God, the true meaning of this statement is 50% literal and 50% figurative, while the Bible does say Moses spoke face to face with God. Moses could not see his face. Which means that all the other times prophets said, “THUS SAYEST THE LORD” ...Jehovah was not doing the talking, it was the prophets mouth saying what Jehovah was speaking to them in their hearts! Therefore, it was the prophet’s mouth that Jehovah God, used to describe himself with. So... what does Moses "spoke to God face to face" really mean? It means that although Moses could not see God's face he did hear his voice audibly.
IN GENESIS 1:26-27 WHEN GOD SAID LET US CREATE MAN IN OUR IMAGE, WAS IT LITERAL OR FIGURATIVE? WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAY GOD LOOKS LIKE? DOES HE HAVE A BODY, FACE, NOSE, EYES, ARMS, LEGS, ETC... DO WE REALLY LOOK LIKE HIM PHYSICALLY? WHAT DOES THE BIBLE SAY ABOUT GODS PHYSICAL ATTRIBUTES?
BODY: (Exodus 33:23b You shall see my BACK)
EYES: (Zechariah. 4:10 they are the EYES of the LORD)
NOSE: (Psalm 18:8 smoke went up from his NOSTRILS. Leviticus 2:2b sweet AROMA to the LORD)
MOUTH: (Isaiah 40:5 the MOUTH of the LORD has spoken)
EARS:(1 Samuel 8:21 he repeated them in the hearing of the LORD)
FACE: (Numbers 6:24-25 the LORD make his FACE shine upon you...)
FINGER: (Luke 11:20a But if I cast out demons with the FINGER of God,...)
HAND: (Ezkiel 1:3 and the HAND of the LORD was upon him)
ARM: (Exodus 6:6 I will redeem you with an out stretch ARM,...)
FEET: (Psalm 18:9 He bowed the heavens also, and came down with darkness under his FEET)
MIND: (Leviticus 24:12b that the MIND of the LORD might be shown to them)
HEART: (1 Samuel 13:14 the LORD hath sought him a man after his own HEART)
HAIR: (Daniel 7:9 and the HAIR of His head like pure wool)
HEAD:(Daniel 7:9 and the hair of his HEAD like pure wool)
BOTTOM: (1 King 22:19, Revelation 4:2b and One sat on the throne)
APPEARANCE OF A MAN: (Ezekiel 1:26 was the likeness as the appearance of a MAN)
CLOTHING ON BODY: (Isaiah 6:1 His train of his robe filled the temple)
GOD'S BODY PARTS: (Psalm 18:6,8,9,13,35 6) even into his EARS, 8) smoke out of his NOSTRILS and fire out of his MOUTH, 9) darkness was under His FEET 13) the highest gave his VOICE, 35) thy right HAND hath holden me up)
