And the Spirit and the Bride say, "Come". And let him that hears say, "Come". And let him that is thirsty "Come". And whoever will, let him take the water of life freely!                                                                    Rev. 22:17

~ HOW TO OBTAIN SALVATION ~

We are saved by GRACE not WORKS! However, our works give testimony of our FAITH! Even though we are not able to save ourselves through our works, God expects us to show our FAITH through them. Although, that is only true if you live long enough to show your works. The man who was crucified alongside Jesus didn’t have the time to prove his works of faith, due to the fact that he died that very same day he accepted Jesus. Therefore, even though the only step he was able to complete was the FIRST. Jesus told him on the spot, that he was going to be saved that very same day!

If you take the first step and you're willing to allow Jesus to help you. He will walk alongside with you all the way to the END. For he will never leave you nor forsake you! Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

 SAVED BY GRACE:

ISAIAH 64:6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousness are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

1 JOHN 1:8-10 8 If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness. 10 If we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us. THIS IS WHY WE'RE SAVED BY GRACE.

EPHESIANS 2:8-9 8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God 9 not by works, so that no one can boast.

JOHN 14:2-3 2In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.  3And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

 BELIEVE:

JOHN 3:16-18 16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever BELIEVES in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. 18 ï¿¿He who BELIEVES in Him is not condemned; but he who does not BELIEVE is condemned already, because he has not BELIEVED in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

ROMANS 9:9-10 9 If you declare with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and BELIEVE in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you BELIEVE and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.

 ACCEPT:

1 TIMOTHY 2:5 For [there is] one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

 BE BORN AGAIN:

JOHN 3:3 Unless a man is “BORN AGAIN” he cannot see the Kingdom of Heaven.

JOHN 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh: and that which is born of the SPIRIT it is SPIRIT.

EPHESIANS 2:5-6 Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:

 FOLLOW JESUS:

JOHN 14:6 6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."

MATTHEW 4:19 And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.

JOHN 10:9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

 OBEY:

Believing is the easy part, obeying on the other hand, is a hard task to follow. The Bible says that it is impossible to obey 100%. It clearly states that none of us can obey God 100%. However, we are not going to be saved based on our obedience, but in simply trying our best to be obedient.

HEBREWS 5:9 And being made perfect, He became the Author of eternal salvation unto all them that OBEY Him.

MATTHEW 7:21-23 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does THE WILL OF MY FATHER in heaven. 22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

HEBREWS 10:26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins

1 JOHN 3:20 For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.

1 JOHN 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

 BAPTISM IN WATER:

Baptism in water is a public confession that we make, letting those who witness our baptism know that we are making a conscience decision to burry our flesh by submerging ourselves in water, which represent the grave. Rising out of the water to be born again, as a new creature in Christ.

ROMANS 6:3-4 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

 BAPTISM IN THE HOLY GHOST:

To be baptized in the Holy Ghost is how you get your seal of approval!

MARK 16:17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;

 LOVE:

JOHN 13:35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

JOHN 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

1 JOHN 3:16-20 16 This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters. 17 If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the LOVE of God be in that person? 18 Dear children, let us not LOVE with words or speech but with actions and in truth. 19 This is how we know that we belong to the truth and how we set our hearts at rest in his presence: 20 If our hearts condemn us, we know that God is greater than our hearts, and he knows everything.

MATTHEW 25:34-40 34 Then the King will say to those on His right hand, ‘Come, you blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world: 35 for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in; 36 was naked and you clothed Me; I was sick and you visited Me; I was in prison and you came to Me.’ 37 “Then the righteous will answer Him, saying, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry and feed You, or thirsty and give You drink? 38 When did we see You a stranger and take You in, or naked and clothe You? 39 Or when did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ 40 And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’

1 CORINTHIANS 13:1 Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not LOVE, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.

JAMES 1:27 27 Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.

 FAITH:

While it is true that no one can be saved by works! Our faith is reflected through our works.

JAMES 2:14-20 What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? 15 If a brother or sister is naked and destitute of daily food, 16 and one of you says to them, “Depart in peace, be warmed and filled,” but you do not give them the things which are needed for the body, what does it profit? 17 Thus also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is DEAD18 But someone will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without your works, and I will show you my faith by my works. 19 You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble! 20 But do you want to know, O foolish man, that faith without works is dead?

WHAT ABOUT PEOPLE WHO NEVER HEARD ABOUT JESUS?

Will all those people who have never heard of Jesus Christ be sent to hell? First we must note that the Bible says God will judge all people righteously. It seems there will be a stricter judgment for those who have rejected the gospel of Jesus Christ than those who have never heard. Paul tells us that those who have never heard of the law are not imputed sin under the law. Paul also tells us that those who follow the law (e.g., practicing Jews) will be judged by the law. The people who have never heard of the law are judged by the law of God which He has placed into their hearts:

Jeremiah 31:33 "This is the covenant I will make with the people of Israel after that time," declares the LORD. "I will put my law in their minds and write it on their hearts. I will be their God, and they will be my people.

Hebrews 10:16 "This is the covenant I will make with them after that time, says the Lord. I will put my laws in their hearts, and I will write them on their minds."

Romans 2:14-16 "For when Gentiles who do not have the Law do instinctively the things of the Law, these, not having the Law, are a law to themselves, in that they show the work of the Law written in their hearts, their conscience bearing witness, and their thoughts alternately accusing or else defending them, on the day when, according to my gospel, God will judge the secrets of men through Christ Jesus."

 JUDGEMENT IS COMING:

A further indication that the judgment of God is based upon what we know and what we have been given can be seen in a warning by James:

James 3:1 Let not many of you become teachers, my brethren, knowing that as such we shall incur a stricter judgment.

In other words, those who know the gospel, study it, and teach it will be under stricter judgment, since they have the ability of guide others, or lead them astray. Jesus, in the parable of the Master and the slaves Luke 12:41-48 talked about the difference in judgment between those who know the will of God vs. those who do not know:

Luke 12:47-48 "And that slave who knew his master's will and did not get ready or act in accord with his will, shall receive many lashes, but the one who did not know it, and committed deeds worthy of a flogging, will receive but few. And from everyone who has been given much shall much be required; and to whom they entrusted much, of him they will ask all the more.

 GOD’S DESIRE:

Is that no man perishes, however, because God is able to see the contents of our hearts. He knows who are the ones, who even if they were to see God in person, themselves. Would not be convinced to believe in God, much less follow him. Therefore, for such there is NO SALVATION.

2 PETER 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

MATTHEW 13:13-15 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand. 14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive: 15 For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

2 Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

Although God would want that all be saved, He doesn't force anyone to spend eternity with Him. So, all must freely make the choice to seek after Him.

 BABIES WHO DIE:

There is one particular class of individuals that certainly go to heaven even though they haven't accepted Jesus as Savior. The Bible makes it clear that infants and children who die go to heaven on the basis of their inability to fully understand the difference between good and evil and make a rational choice. It is likely that older individuals who are, likewise, unable to choose because of a mental disability, go to heaven without the requirement of having to directly choose Jesus as Savior.

DON’T KNOW THE NAME OF “JESUS”

Do people have to know the name "Jesus Christ" to be saved? Many people do not know that "Jesus" is not the "real" name of the Savior. His real (Hebrew) name is "Yeshua," which is usually translated into the English as "Joshua." The Greek transliteration is "iaysous" translated in English to "JESUS" In fact, in three verses of the New Testament (Luke 3:29, Acts 7:45, and Hebrews 4:8), iaysous is translated into the English as "Joshua," since the text refers to the Old Testament saint. In addition, the word "Christ" is not Jesus' last name, but His title. The Greek word "christos" (translated "Christ" in the English) means "Messiah," the "anointed one." This is why the New Testament letters often refer to Jesus as "Christ Jesus," which means "Messiah Jesus." Other languages have different pronunciations of the name of Jesus. However, God is able to understand whom we are talking about and save us no matter what we call the name of the Savior, provided we don’t call him the name of a false god, like Mohammad, Buddah, Guadalupe, etc... In addition, Job, from the Old Testament, was saved even though he did not know the name of the Savior. Therefore, although it is true that Jesus is the only way to get into heaven, you don't necessarily have to know His name to get there. Obviously this no longer applies to you. For by reading this article you no longer ignore the plan of salvation.

Does the fact that people do not need to know the exact name of the Savior mean that Christians should not evangelize those who have never heard the gospel? When Jesus appeared to the disciples after His resurrection, He commanded them to "make disciples of all the nations," which has been called the Great Commission. Although it might be possible for people to be saved in the absence of knowing the gospel, it isn't likely to occur in very many instances. Therefore, it is important that Christians proclaim the gospel as much as possible. Since we don't know if any particular person knows the gospel, sometimes we seem to be a little pushy. If you are a non-Christian, please don't take it personally. We are not trying to annoy you, but genuinely want you to experience the peace of Jesus Christ and join us in eternity.

 WHAT ABOUT THE GREAT COMMISSION?

Should we obey Jesus and preach to everyone we come across? Or should we remain quiet and wait until someone else does it?

God, in his infinite wisdom, knew that such task would not be taken seriously by all. After all, man is born selfish and self-centered. Why should I go out of my way for you? Or vice versa, why should you go out of your way for me? What is it to you? Funny you should ask! Our salvation IS DEPENDENT on our witnessing!!!

ROMANS 10:14  How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

EZEKIEL 33:7 Son of man, speak to the children of thy people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman: If when he seeth the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people; Then whosoever heareth the sound of the trumpet, and taketh not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head. He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that taketh warning shall deliver his soul. But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand.

 CONCLUSION:

I know there are many Christians who say that all those who die without faith in Christ will be relegated to spend eternity in Hell - even if they have never heard the gospel. I think scripture suggests otherwise - that we are judged on the basis of what we know and how we act upon it. This is not any sort of ecumenical theology or "all ways lead to God." Those who have heard the gospel of Jesus Christ and have refused to believe have rejected Him, and, as such, will fall under the condemnation of God, because they have rejected His provision for our disobedience. Therefore, atheists are still without excuse in rejecting God. Those who perpetrate evil, even without the knowledge of the gospel, will likewise be condemned, since they have violated their God-given conscience. In the same way, those who play the "religion game" of going to church on Sunday, but living apart from a relationship with God, will be condemned.

Those who truly believe and obey GOD will not do the following:

  • Be judgemental (Romans. 14:13).
  • Talk behind our backs (or hurt one another) (Galatians. 5:15).
  • Lie to eachother (Colossians. 3:9)
  • Murmur about one another (James. 4:11).
  • Complaint about one another (James. 5:9).

Positively love intents to edify people. We reach this goal by doing the following for one another:

  • Receiving (Romans 15:17).
  • Serving (Galatians. 5:13).
  • Submitting (Ef. 5:21; ver 1 Peter 5:5).
  • Tolerating and forgiving (Colossians 3:13).
  • To teaching and exorting (Colossians. 3:16).
  • Encouraging (1 Tesalonians. 4:18).
  • Praying (1 Peter 4:9).
  •  Hosting our bretheren in our houses (James 5:16).

To Accept our Lord Jesus Christ as your personal Savior please pray:

"Lord Jesus, I confess I am a sinner. I repent of all my sins and ask for your forginess. I believe you are the Son of God. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sins. I accept you as my Lord and Savior. I give you full authority over my heart, mind and soul. As of today you are the Lord of my life and I surrender my will to you. In Jesus name I pray. AMEN!""
